Black Families Technology Awareness Day 2022

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Astrobotany workshop for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Black Families Technology Awareness Day (BFTAD)! 

We hope you had fun learning about growing plants in space during the astrobotany workshop and making Valentine’s Day cards with some scientists during the Young Black Scientists and Engineers Panel! The Young Black Scientists and Engineers Panel panel featured Grace Kigaita, Adonis Billizon-Johnson, Andolyn Medina, Leelina Dagim, and Randy Tran, and concluded with a short creative coding workshop!
