Leelina Dagim

Meet our Computer Science and Technology Consultant and Workshop Leader based in Seoul, South Korea.

Lee is a freelance UI/UX designer from Dallas, Texas. She is a recent graduate from American University in Washington, DC with a B.S. in Computer Science. Before starting her career, she will be living in Seoul, South Korea for a year to teach English. Aside from her hobbies related to learning languages, curating music, and playing with doggos, Lee has a deep interest in working with Ethiopian Diasporas and the skills they continue to obtain to build up Ethiopia’s tech and art spaces.

Lee believes diversity in STEM and other fields is necessary. “As a UX designer, your research is catered towards the users. It is important to understand your user, not only surface level. Being able to relate to your users makes your work much more accurate and fulfilling.”

Fun fact: “I’m fire at table tennis for no reason.”
