Richmond Hill High School in Queens, NY connected to the International Space Station on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025! Astronauts Nichole Ayers and Anne McClain answered our students’ questions LIVE from the ISS.

As part of NASA’s In Flight Educational Downlink program, students at RHHS participated in STEM and STEAM workshops (including Art Technically’s Astrobotany Workshop and STEAM4Space’s Mission Patch Design Workshop) to prepare questions for astronauts. To connect your students with astronauts aboard the space station for a live question-and-answer session about living and working in space, you can apply on the Downlink website. If you are a Title 1 school, you can also request assistance with your application from Art Technically by emailing team@arttechnically.org.
