Love Letters is a campaign to make Valentine’s Day cards for senior meal delivery services. Love Letters was created by DoSomething.org in partnership with Meals on Wheels America in 2016. Art Technically’s 2019 Love Letters campaign worked with Edmund Burke School, Annunciation Catholic School, the Jelleff Boys and Girls Club, and American University students to make #MadeWithCode cards for Iona Senior Services in Washington, DC.

The #MadeWithCode cards were coded with CoffeeScript using the Love Letters: Creative Coding Lesson Plan. The cards were distributed by Iona Senior Services at their February weekend meal delivery services. You can use the Love Letters lesson plan to learn to code your own Valentine’s Day cards! To request a workshop for your school or student group, email team@arttechnically.org.
