‘I Am Scientist’ Workshop with Toone Elementary

Students at Toone Elementary School in Hardeman County, Tennessee participated in our new ‘I am a Scientist’ STEAM workshop.

Elementary schoolers at Toone’s after-school program imagined themselves as scientists through a mixed media project made with instant photos (i.e. polaroids). Each student got their picture taken with our instant camera, and then got to dress up their photo with lab coats and science stickers. I also delivered a collection of STEM books to Toone’s Library.
